Authors' Notes: This takes place in an Alternate Universe, after 4.01 and was inspired by Jim Bianco's awesome song, Tennessee Wedding (lyrics in the comments.)

Dean pulled at the collar of his shirt for what had to be the hundredth time and glared at his brother.

"Sammy," he said, "tell me again why we're here. And more importantly, why I have to wear a tie?"

Funny that he could pull off wearing a priest's collar, but a regular tie could cause him so much trouble. He hated the damn things. Pulling it off, he threw it on the seat beside him. "Never mind, I'm not wearing it."

Eyebrows raised, Sam scoffed at his older brother, throwing in an eye roll for good measure. "Because, Dean, it's a wedding. Those events you normally avoid like the plague? Yeah. You're not gonna get in wearing a Led Zep shirt, man." Seriously. Couldn't Dean just put up and shut up for once in his life? Privately, Sam thought Dean could have done with some time out from the world of hunting, a break to normaise, like he'd had. But when he tried to imagine him doing anything else, it just seemed wrong. He shut the door of the Impala with a shrug. "Don't be a dick, Dean."
